La LIGA Students Design Posters for Local Businesses

La LIGA, a Saturday club for bilingual students in grades 6-8, wrapped up its 2025-26 school year by showcasing student-created digital designs for local businesses and school improvement campaigns.

Throughout the year, students built digital literacy and social-emotional learning skills before participating in recreational activities, including soccer, basketball and volleyball, followed by lunch together.

As part of this year’s digital literacy projects, students partnered with three local businesses — Fiesta Rentals, JMX Exterior Cleaning and Chapin Barbershop — to design promotional posters and menus. Business owners selected winning entries from multiple student submissions.

Students also created school improvement posters focused on anti-bullying, anti-vaping and anti-drug awareness campaigns.
