NMS Musicians Sweep Awards at Music in the Parks Festival
The North Middle School Music Department won four honors, including the highly-coveted Espirit de Corps Award, at the Music in the Parks Festival over the first weekend in May.
The concert band, mixed choir, and string orchestra all received first-prize trophies with "Superior" or "Excellent" ratings. The department took home the Espirit de Corps Award, recognizing the exemplary attitude of support and character brought to the festival by the fine students from North Middle School.
The festival took place at Six Flags Amusement Park in Jackson, N.J.
